HEY STRIKING STRIKERS We really out here with a new patch for SEASON 4 OMEGA STRIKERS!!! Naturally, we don’t have a ton of new stuff while the team cooks up some new prototypes (and this is technically a micropatch anyway) but we still want to bring you some nifty new changes. Among those nifty changes are character adjustments and a NEW SKIN REWARD for you climbers.

We also got a couple more small features headed your way in a bigger patch, so keep an eye out for that!


SEASON RESET

NEW SEASON!!! LET’S GOOOOO. START THE CLIMB!! The reset algorithm backend has been improved pretty nicely and we fixed some niche bugs where people were unintentionally losing progress or getting wrong gains. Sick.Ranked Rewards:

  • Aqua Cannon goal explosion
    • (This isn't a seasonal reward btw, this is a forever thing that you'll unlock once you hit challenger any time in the future.)
  • Top "x" titles
    • ex: Top 5, Top 10, Top 25, etc
  • Nao Recolor
    • For anyone who reaches Gold!
  • An emote for reaching plat
  • An emote for playing a bunch of games
    • 25 Ranked Games to be exact

Most rewards will be based on your Season *Peak* rating, but the titles for "Top X%" will be based on your leaderboard position at the end of the season.As always, you can track your progress and match history at our site at https://stats.omegastrikers.gg/

    • Damage and Knockback :: 195 (+97.5) → 185 (+92.5%)
    • Secondary Core Knockback :: 1300(+185%) → 1280(+175%)

  • Celestial Intervention [SPECIAL]
    • BUGFIX: Revives should now work properly. Should no longer fail to revive in some instances.

Drek'ar icon.png Drek'ar

After his recent buffs, lizard has been uhhh… been burning up players at high elo and now he’s gonna do it less.

  • Molten Bolt [SPECIAL]
    • Cooldown :: 30s → 35s

Finii icon.png Finii

FINII GOALIE IS NUTS. FINII SHOW CANCELLED A LITTLE.

10 speed is pretty big okay. Juliette strong now since she was falling off in the meta.

10 speed AND 5 power is even BIGGER than just 10 speed. Juno mains rejoice.

Kazan goalie has been sleeper OP. We’re hitting these stats in particular to lower his prowess in net.

Mako icon.png Mako

Struggling to keep the tempo after the instant-cast removal, so we’re loading more power into her secondary to make up for what she lost.

    • No longer tagged as MELEE
    • Functionality unchanged
    • Self slow :: 47% → 43% (Base speed while casting :: 289 → 314)
    • Cooldown :: 20s → 18s

Nao icon.png Nao

Since launch, Nao’s strength has been divided among two groups: really powerful in coordinated play, but pretty weak in solo queue in not high tiers of play. We’ve adjusted a lot of stuff in her kit previously, but she’s still not really where we want her to be for either group. We’re shaking her kit up by removing the hit stun and some PVP power from her secondary to make it a more reliable tool and adding some extra strength to her primary. We’ll be keeping an eye on this and will follow up if needed.

  • Proximity Drone [SECONDARY]
    • Hit type :: Normal → Light
    • Cooldown ::12s → 9s
    • Arm time :: 0.25s → 0.15s
  • Sentry Drone [PRIMARY]
    • Max Duration :: 3.5s → 4s (Max hit power still occurs after 2s)

We’ve activated additional speed awakenings this patch so we’re making sure Octy doesn’t go crazy with those.

  • Flow State [SECONDARY]
    • Base speed :: 28 → 20
    • Speed per second :: 1.6 → 2

Little boost aimed at higher-tier play.

  • Whiplash [SECONDARY]
    • Damage and Knockback :: 150 (+70%) → 160 (+80%)
    • Core Knockback :: 1280 (+150%) → 1300 (+160%)

5 speed and 10 power? That’s the Juno change but reversed!!!

  • Base Stats
    • Speed :: 460 → 465
    • Power :: 100 → 110

Vyce icon.png Vyce

Last set of nerfs dampened her sound, man. We’re giving her some more reliable cooldowns, but still making sure she doesn’t drown out the rest of the cast.

  • Thunderstruck [SECONDARY]
    • Cooldown :: 14s → 12s
    • Damage and Knockback :: 220 (+110%) → 200 (+100%)

He lost 5 power! Where did that go? To Juno? X was just kinda good last patch so we’re turning him down a bit.
