Vyce

Vyce is a supercharged rocker who uses lightning energy to cause chaos and blast foes.

Abilities

Strike

	MELEE Melee A type of hit that scales with the striker's size. Strikes, dashes and most short-ranged abilities are considered MELEE hits
	Knock the Core in a direction with a LIGHT MELEE hit.

Lingers for ~0.15s.

Evade

	When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become ELUSIVE, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy.

Requires and uses 25 Energy (1 bar). Elusive duration: 1.5s. Using any ability cancels the effect early. Automatically uses Energy Burst instead when used with 75 Energy (3 bars).

Energy Burst

	Spend all of your Energy to EVADE and unleash an additional burst of power. This knocks back and stuns enemies momentarily, briefly grants you exclusive control of the Core, and dramatically increases the power of your next hit against it.

Ability Details
Requires and uses 75 Energy (3 bars). Elusive duration: 1.5s. Using any ability cancels the effect early. Hitting the Core while it is under your exclusive control increases the Core Knockback of the hit by 50%, as well as the Knockback cap. Grants energy on a hit, which is given after the 75 is spent to use the ability. Size does not increase radius. Only affected by Power and generic damage %.

Ability Details
50% of direct hit (50% to Core). Does not apply the slow. Chain Lightning checks for a new target within 450 range of the original (prioritizing closest), then jumps and deals damage before repeating this process from the new target. Chain Lightning can leap to as many targets as possible, but can’t jump to the same target twice (or hit the original). Chain Lightning doesn't benefit from Projectile range. Knockback is directed away from the target the lightning jumped from.

Thunderstruck

	BLINK Blink a type of MOVEMENT ABILITY that causes the player to teleport to a predetermined location. BLINKS can have a cast time, but the Striker does not physically travel to their destination IMPACT Impact A type of hit that is capable of affecting 2 or more targets simultaneously. Commonly referred to as "area of effect" or AOE DEBUFF Debuff a negative effect a Striker can apply to enemy players or the Core. Debuffs usually have a duration
	Summon a thunderbolt from the sky to a target location, hitting and stunning enemies for 0.6s. For the next 3.3s, recast to assume a form of pure energy and BLINK to the cast location.

Ability Details
Winds up for 0.3s before revealing the hit location, then takes 0.8s to land. Stuns Strikers for 0.6s. Stuns the core for 0.25s (unaffected by debuff duration). Can’t stun a core during another striker’s Energy Burst. A Stunned Core ignores energy burst. Gravity effects (such as Mako’s Drum n’ Base) can’t move the core during the stun. Eject button applies after recast. Goes on cooldown when initially cast. BUG: PvP damage is using an old scaling. Numbers above are showing actual in-game scaling.

Ability Details
Immune to KB during the channel. If Vyce is hugging a kill zone, she can still be KO’d from knockback effects. Minimum channel time: 0.25s. Takes 1.25s to charge fully, and can be held up to 2s total before forced release. Goes on cooldown when released. Vyce can be stunned while channeling, but it won’t cancel the channel and she can release it at any time during the stun. She still cannot act after releasing the wave until the stun wears off.

Listed values are not actually the minimum value in-game due to the minimum channel time. Actual min is a 30% dmg bonus (25% to Core) from the above listed value. Also about 35% of final size.

Lore

Vyce brings raw power, energy, and chaos to the Pro League in unmatched quantities. The sheer wall of sound she channels through her guitar is enough to send an entire opposing team flying off the arena. And as Vyce sees it, she's just warming up.

Vyce was born just minutes after her twin sister, Octavia, and always felt like she was growing up in her shadow. While Octavia was precocious and could curry the favor of all around her, Vyce was loud, disruptive, and always wanted to do things her own way. Despite their differences, the two were inseparable, and Vyce looked forward to the day where they could live their rockstar dreams together. She cherished the guitar Octavia got her for her birthday and would carry it with her everywhere she'd go. She even managed to find ways to use it on the Corestrike fields when the two would play together.

The two sisters were naturally skilled musicians and, recognizing their daughters' talents, Vyce's' parents put her and Octavia into a music conservatory in their early teenage years. The conservatory wasn't a comfortable place for Vyce - the instructors were strict and her loud, raucous style of playing was frowned upon. Even worse, Vyce could feel distance growing between her and Octavia. Instead of being excited to craft compositions together, Octavia seemed caught up in her own pursuits, leaving her sister behind. Vyce felt abandoned and found new friends who appreciated her rebellious spirit.

The two graduated from the academy and went their separate ways. Vyce became an icon of the underground punk scene, but her work never found great commercial success. While she would put on a strong, defiant, face to the outside world, Vyce was distraught at the loss of her relationship with her sister and the scuttling of the dreams she had crafted alongside her since they were children.

A few years after graduating from the musical academy, Vyce was booked to play as an opener on a side stage at Ahten's biggest music festival, while her sister would be headlining the event. After a lively set, Vyce was suprised to find her sister waiting for her backstage. Seeing her sister brought all of Vyce's resentment to the surface and the two got into a heated argument. In a fit of rage, Vyce stormed off, spending the rest of the festival locked away in her trailer.

A few days later, Vyce was again surprised to have received a message from Octavia. Her sister offered that the two could return to one of their childhood passions and play Corestrike together as a way to work out their damaged relationship. Vyce couldn't believe her sister was sincere and initially rejected the offer, but after repeated prodding from Octavia reluctantly agreed. The two now step into the Pro League together - but will Vyce be able to calm her anger, control her resentment, and reconcile with Octavia?
