Trainings were buffs that gave various bonuses to Strikers during matches. They were removed and reworked into Gear and Awakenings in the Official Launch Update. They were pre-selected either before queuing for a match, or during Striker Select. There were 5 different categories (Sniper, Speedster, Controller, Brawler, Specialist) of trainings, each with a general theme of what bonuses they provide.

All Strikers have a choice of three different Trainings at a time. Strikers are also required to take some Trainings from certain categories to fill their first two (Striker's Style) slots, whereas the third (Prismatic Training icon.png Prismatic Slot) slot can be filled with any Training. (e.g. Dubu icon.png Dubu requires at least two Trainings from the Controller category; Juliette icon.png Juliette requires at least one Training from the Speedster category, and one Training from the Brawler category.)

The first two Trainings in each category are available by default to all players. All other Trainings can be purchased in the Store. Trainings are shared amongst all Strikers, and 6 custom Training Loadouts (3 Forward and 3 Goalie) can be created per Striker. Training Loadouts created during Striker Select are temporary for the match they were created in.

In the main menu (or party menu), the player can edit the Training Loadouts by clicking on the account name in the center, scrolling down the pop-up sidebar, and clicking <Create New>.

Sniper (Orange)

Focused on ranged hits

Rapid Fire

  • Reduced Primary ability cooldown
  • Primary ability cooldown reduced by 12%. Increases to 25% at max level.

Ultrascope

  • Stronger ranged hits
  • Targets at 600+ range are hit 20% harder (10% to Core).

Stinger

  • Hits deal bonus damage over time
  • LIGHT / MEDIUM / HEAVY hits burn players for 3.5 / 7.0 / 10.5% of their Stagger bar over 0.75 / 1.5 / 2.25s.

Missile Propulsion

  • Longer and harder-hitting PROJECTILES
  • PROJECTILES gain 35% travel or cast range, and hit 5% harder (2.5% to Core).

Strike Shot

  • Strikes periodically launch a PROJECTILE.
  • Every 7s, Strike also fires a LIGHT hit PROJECTILE.

Speedster (Green)

Crossover

  • Strikes grant HASTE
  • Strikes grant 30% HASTE for 1.5s.

Super Surge

  • Better and harder-hitting MOVEMENT abilities
  • MOVEMENT abilities hit 20% harder (10% to Core). DASHES and BLINKS gain 50% travel range. HASTES are 50% faster.

Perfect Form

  • Hits reduce cooldowns
  • LIGHT / MEDIUM / HEAVY hits reduce other ability cooldowns by 5 / 10 / 15% (max 0.5 / 1.0 / 1.5s per hit).

Stacks on Stacks

  • Hits grant stacking bonuses; lost if K.O.'ed
  • LIGHT / MEDIUM / HEAVY hits grant 2 / 4 / 6 stacks of HASTE (0.15% per stack [max 15% at 100 stacks]). At 100 stacks, gain 5 Power per 100 Speed. All stacks are lost if K.O.'d.

Acrobatics

  • Basic MOVEMENT abilities gain an extra charge but have longer cooldowns
  • Basic MOVEMENT abilities store an extra charge and can be cast again if the cooldown is available but they have 5% longer cooldowns.

Controller (Blue)

Focused on tankiness

Well Fed

  • Gain Stagger and bonuses from Power Orbs
  • Gain 200 max Stagger, plus an additional 100 per Power Orb you collect (max 5). At 5 Orbs, gain 15% knockback resistance.

Built Different

  • Increased size and hit harder
  • Gain 30% size and hit 5% harder (2.5% to Core).

Creator of Large Things

  • CREATIONS gain size and they hit harder
  • CREATIONS gain 35% size and hit 5% harder (2.5% to Core).

Stagger Swagger

  • Heal quickly while at high Stagger
  • While above 50% Stagger, regenerate 175 Stagger per second.

Hot Shot

  • Hitting the Core reduces cooldowns
  • Hitting the Core with an ability lowers its cooldown by 25% (max 2.5s). Hit the Core 7% harder.

Brawler (Red)

Focused on hitting and fighting

Heavy Handed

  • Hit harder, especially with HEAVY hits
  • Hit 8% harder. Increased to 16% for HEAVY hits (4% and 8% to Core).

Tempo Swing

  • Hits deal extra damage and heal
  • LIGHT / MEDIUM / HEAVY hits deal bonus damage equal to 1 / 2 / 3% of your max Stagger and heal for 200% of that amount.

Unstoppable

  • Gain HASTE and defense based on Stagger
  • While not Staggered, gain 30% knockback resist and 5-15% HASTE based on current Stagger. [HASTE buff amount increases as Stagger bar fills]

Prime Time

  • Primary ability gains a charge at max level with a longer cooldown
  • Primary ability hits 5% (2.5% to Core) harder and gains an extra charge at max level with a 5% longer cooldown.

Prize Fighter

  • Takedowns grant stacking Power; lost if K.O.'d
  • Gain 7 Power. Takedowns grant 4 additional Power, stacking up to 7 times. 1 stack is lost if K.O.'d.

Specialist (Purple)

Extra Special

  • Reduced Special ability cooldown
  • Special Ability cooldown reduced by 20%. Starting a new round reduces its remaining cooldown by 15s.

Cast to Last

  • BUFFS, DEBUFFS, and HASTES last longer
  • Ability BUFFS and HASTES you cast last 60% longer. Ability DEBUFFS you inflict last 60% longer.

Creator of Durable Things

  • CREATIONS gain duration and they hit harder
  • CREATIONS gain 75% duration and hit 5% harder (2.5% to Core).

Eject Button

  • Recast MOVEMENT abilities to BLINK back
  • After casting a MOVEMENT ability, recast it within 3.25s to blink back to the cast position.

Adrenaline Rush

  • Takedowns grant HASTE and lower cooldowns
  • Earning a Takedown grants 75% HASTE for 2s and reduces cooldowns by 8s. Gain 20 Speed.

Notes

  • Trainings released prior to 2022-10-20 update each cost 5,000 Striker Credits or 300 Ody Points to unlock.
  • Trainings released in the 2022-10-20 update each cost 15,000 Striker Credits or 500 Ody Points to unlock.

  • Ai.Mi requires at least 1 Sniper training and 1 Specialist training.

  • Asher requires at least 1 Controller training and 1 Brawler training.
