When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become ELUSIVE, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy.
Elusive duration: 1.5s. Using any ability cancels the effect early.
Automatically uses Energy Burst instead when used with 75 Energy (3 bars).
Energy Burst
Spend all of your Energy to EVADE and unleash an additional burst of power. This knocks back and stuns enemies momentarily, briefly grants you exclusive control of the Core, and dramatically increases the power of your next hit against it.
A type of hit that is capable of affecting 2 or more targets simultaneously. Commonly referred to as "area of effect" or AOE
LIGHTLY hit all enemies in a line, pushing them towards the top of the umbrella. The umbrella will then spin rapidly, dealing multiple LIGHT hits leading up to a final, more powerful flourish.

Lore
Kazan's wild playstyle can leave you breathless in more ways than one. While he wields an umbrella, don't underestimate the power with which he will happily send opponents flying out of the arena. His flexibility and dexterity give him the capability to go toe to toe with even the strongest of strikers in a brawl and keep opponents guessing what exactly he'll do next.
Kazan grew up with few friends apart from his beloved older sister. From a young age she was frail and sickly, and would encourage Kazan to chase after his dreams and passions in a way she would never be able to. The two were inseparable and cared for each other deeply, each trying to make sure the other lived the best life they could. At their school, Kazan's sister was an easy target for being bullied or picked on, and often found herself the butt of cruelty only children could concoct.
The two lived in a rainy city where, throughout the year, storms and downpours were commonplace. Kazan would often carry an umbrella over his sister's head as they walked to school to keep her safe from the elements. On one particularly rainy day a group of his sister's peers rode by on bikes, circling Kazan and his sister and hurling all manner of insults at them. While his sister told him to ignore their taunting, something broke inside of Kazan. He deftly knocked one of the bullies off their bike, then proceeded to beat him senseless with the umbrella. Kazan's senses blurred and the heat of rage surged through him - as he hit the bully harder and harder, again and again, he felt an indescribable pleasure. His sister begged him to stop, but her cries couldn't break him out of the frenzy.
The other bullies, fearful of Kazan, fled the scene. As Kazan calmed down and a realization of his actions began to set in he felt a wall of guilt and disgust building inside of him. He finally paid attention to his sister's cries and noticed that as he had lost his senses his sister had lost her protection from the rain. The direct exposure to the downpour caused her to catch a severe cold that exacerbated her illness and forced her to be hospitalized. As she sat on the brink of life in the hospital bed, Kazan blamed himself and vowed he would always protect her in the future.
As the years went by, his sister's illness got progressively worse and doctors could find no cure. Kazan had heard whispers of Rasmus, the scion of Clarion Corp, experimenting with Omega energy and curing all manner of illnesses. He approached Rasmus and struck a bargain - if Kazan would accept any and all jobs Rasmus presented, Rasmus would seek to find a cure for his sister. Kazan found himself to be quite skilled at the work Rasmus would assign. Over time the jobs became more brutal, but Kazan found himself enjoying it commensurately. While Kazan has never rejected a job, even playing Corestrike for the Clarion Corp team, Rasmus has yet to cure his sister.
Kazan is on the edge of losing his patience, being driven toward new heights of mania as his sister's life hangs in Rasmus' hands.
