Lore
Finii's tricky playstyle can leave even the most observant of foes befuddled. Many foes have underestimated the young, adorable showman, only to be unpleasantly surprised when bested by her sleight of hand. Finii is well aware of this mismatch of appearance and capability and uses it to her advantage at every turn.
Finii comes from an affluent background - both of her parents are some of Ahten's biggest business titans. Even in the rare moments where her parents were home from the office they remained engrossed in their work. Despite her cute, jovial nature, Finii found her parents would never pay her more than the most cursory attention, always focusing on their own affairs and leaving Finiiunder the care of her well-intentioned butler, Guillaume.
To try and grab her parents' attention, Finii took to playing all manner of tricks and pranks. Regardless of how elaborate these hijinks were, Finii's parents never seemed to take notice, always asking Guillaume to take care of whatever fallout came from them. She wanted her parents to be angry, proud, shocked - anything that would get them to put her in the spotlight for a moment, but they remained indefinitely indifferent.
While she struggled to be the star of the show at home, she was always the center of attention at the academy for the children of Ahten's wealthy elite. At school she was the consummate trickster, always one upping her past antics with new pranks that brought joy to her classmates and consternation to the school administration. While a normal child would have been expelled for such behavior, Finii could always avoid any real punishment by playing up her cuteness. It felt good to be a celebrity amongst her peers, but she still wished to be noticed at home.
Finii decided she needed to do something truly wild, something that would absolutely force her parents to take notice of her. A friend at school recommended she attempt to join the Pro League and, while he fought the idea at first, Guillaume consented to taking her to a qualifier, believing that there was no chance she'd actually make it.
At the qualifier, she found the unlikely pair of Ai.Mi and Zentaro who were looking for a 3rd player to join their team. Finii , excited to find a few younger players closer to her own age, offered to join the two. They were both skeptical at first, but Finii, ever confident in her own abilities, offered to 1v1 Ai.Mi and prove her skill. Finii's tricks proved too much for Ai.Mi and in a shocking set of plays, she managed to win. Zentaro found this amusing and while Ai.Mi called it all luck and no skill, they ultimately offered Finii a spot on the squad. In Zentaro, Finii found a friend, and in Ai.Mi, a prime target for her pranks. She now sets out to prove to her parents, and the world, that she deserves the spotlight.
