Drek'ar is a soldier assassin who uses stealth and slows to disrupt enemies.
Abilities
Strike MELEE Melee
A type of hit that scales with the striker's size. Strikes, dashes and most short-ranged abilities are considered MELEE hits
Knock the Core in a direction with a LIGHT MELEE hit. Cooldown 0.9s Core Knockback 1230 + 125% Player Knockback 150 + 75% Damage 75 + 37% Range 250 (diameter) Ability Details
Evade When not fully charged, spend Energy to briefly become ELUSIVE, avoiding all incoming damage and knockbacks. Casting an ability ends this effect early. Gains additional effects if cast with 100% Energy. Cooldown 3s Ability Details Requires and uses 25 Energy (1 bar). Elusive duration: 1.5s. Using any ability cancels the effect early. Automatically uses Energy Burst instead when used with 75 Energy (3 bars).
Energy Burst Spend all of your Energy to EVADE and unleash an additional burst of power. This knocks back and stuns enemies momentarily, briefly grants you exclusive control of the Core, and dramatically increases the power of your next hit against it. Cooldown 3s Player Knockback 200 + 100% Damage 200 + 100% Ability Details Requires and uses 75 Energy (3 bars). Elusive duration: 1.5s. Using any ability cancels the effect early. Hitting the Core while it is under your exclusive control increases the Core Knockback of the hit by 50%, as well as the Knockback cap. Grants energy on a hit, which is given after the 75 is spent to use the ability. Size does not increase radius. Only affected by Power and generic damage %.

Become invisible and gain 40% Speed for 1.25s. Using an ability during this invisibility will reveal you and make that ability hit 30% harder (15% to Core). Cooldown 11s Ability Details Drek'ar turns fully invisible to the opposing team, and semi-transparent for his teammates. Stealth-hit amplification has a 0.25s post-stealth grace window.The stealth hit amplification is not affected by Super Surge. The increase is treated the same as an Awakening and is additive.

Lore
Even the boldest strikers in the Pro League are intimidated by Drek'ar . His tactical playstyle can foil the best laid plans. When Drek'ar cloaks into invisibility, every striker knows it's only a matter of time before he's blasting them, or their team, out of the arena.
Drek'ar is a seasoned soldier - he was raised in a militaristic alien society focused exclusively on expansion. He took part in dozens of invasions, conquering planet after planet for his generals' empire. While he was proud of his people and their achievements, Drek'ar never quite felt right about this conquest. There was something unsettling about it all - was acting as a tool for the empire all he was good for?
During one of these invasions in a solar system close to Earth's, Drek'ar's transport pod malfunctioned. He was thrown off course and crash-landed onto Earth. He tried to reestabilish contract with his fleet, but found that his communication devices had been damaged in the crash and would require serious repairs. He was left stranded on an alien world.
Drek'ar came into contact with humans and was seen as an extraterrestrial threat, a creature to be feared. But one saw him differently - Atlas was fascinated by Drek'ar . He taught Drek'ar human language, culture, and customs, among which was playing Corestrike. Drek'ar experienced "play" for the sake of fun, something that felt exhilaratingly alien to him. He admired humans and respected their focus on play rather than conquest and domination. Drek'ar stopped attempting to repair his communicator and resolved to stay on Earth.
Humans haven't been so quick to accept Drek'ar . Many still view him as a threat, a dangerous invader plotting nefarious schemes. After he qualified for the Pro League, many called for him to be banned from the game. But Drek'ar soldiers on, hoping that one day the world may accept him.
